7S 24V 100A Lithium Battery BMS Protection Board with Balancing and Temperature Control
This 7-cell series (7S) Battery Management System (BMS) is designed for 3.6V/3.7V ternary NMC lithium battery packs, delivering a 100A continuous current rating suitable for high-demand applications. It integrates overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit, and broken-wire protection functions on a single PCBA, mounted to an aluminium heatsink for effective heat dissipation during sustained loads.
The board features a same-port design, meaning charge and discharge share one output port, which simplifies assembly in battery packs used in electric bikes, scooters, RV/camper inverters, and portable power stations. A dedicated balance wire harness connector allows the BMS to monitor and equalise each cell's voltage independently, protecting the pack from capacity imbalance and premature cell degradation over time.
A temperature sensor interface is included, allowing an optional external sensor to be connected for over-temperature and over-power protection — a critical safety layer for high-current applications where heat build-up is a concern. The board uses an integrated IC solution with alloy sampling resistors and thick-copper PCB traces engineered for reliable high-current performance.
This BMS is suitable for builders and repairers of 24V lithium battery packs used in power tools, motorised vehicles, solar storage, inverter systems, and other DC applications requiring a robust, protected 7S battery management solution.
