Need to charge an 11.1V (3S) lithium battery pack from a low-voltage source? This 3S 4A Boost Charging Module solves that problem. It functions as a voltage boost amplifier — drawing DC 3V to 6V from a Type-C USB port or any compatible DC source and stepping it up internally to a steady 12.6V DC, the precise full-charge voltage for three 3.7V lithium-ion or LiPo cells in series.
The 1MHz high-frequency switching design ensures stable regulation across varying load conditions. Quasi-CV (constant voltage) mode compensates for battery internal resistance and wiring resistance, so the terminal voltage accurately reflects the battery's true state of charge.
On the back of the PCB, clearly labelled solder pads let you select your output configuration (2S, 3S, or 4S) and input current (1A, 2A, or 4A) — making this one module adaptable to a range of lithium battery projects without needing separate hardware for each configuration.
Charging status is always visible: the CR LED confirms an active charge session, and the OK LED signals when your 3S pack has reached full capacity. Protection against overvoltage, battery short circuit, and premature recharge activation is built directly into the circuit.
