2S 4A Type-C Boost Lithium Battery Charging Module (DC 3–6V to 8.4V)
This compact boost charging module is designed to charge 2-series (2S) lithium-ion or LiPo battery packs with a precise 8.4V output voltage. Unlike conventional chargers that require a higher input, this module works as a boost (step-up) amplifier — it takes a low DC input between 3V and 6V (such as from a USB Type-C adapter or a single-cell lithium battery) and boosts it to the exact 8.4V needed to fully charge two 3.7V lithium cells connected in series.
With a 4A input current rating, the module delivers an output charging current of 2.2A, making it suitable for fast charging of medium to large-capacity 2S battery packs used in RC devices, DIY power tools, portable electronics, and custom battery projects.
The board features solder-pad configuration on the reverse side, allowing the same hardware to support 2S, 3S, or 4S battery configurations and 1A, 2A, or 4A input current — simply bridge the appropriate pads for your application. Two on-board LEDs provide clear real-time charging feedback: the CR LED lights during charging, and the OK LED illuminates when the pack is fully charged or enters constant voltage mode.
Built-in protection circuits guard against battery overvoltage, short-circuit conditions, and over-discharge recharge scenarios, keeping your battery and circuit safe throughout the charge cycle. At just 36mm × 18mm and 4.38g, it integrates easily into compact builds where space is limited.
Note: The 4A version requires a Type-C power supply capable of delivering a sustained 4A current. A good-quality solder connection to the BAT and GND pads is also recommended for reliable high-current operation.
