For engineers, hobbyists, and off-grid builders requiring reliable low-voltage climate control, the XH-W3001 12V DC Temperature Controller provides an exceptionally straightforward solution. Unlike standard mains-powered units, this 12-volt module is optimized for battery banks, solar setups, DC transformers, and custom automotive or RV applications.
Operating as a direct-output switch, it passes your 12V DC power directly to the connected load. This eliminates the need for complex external relay wiring when driving low-voltage components like DC heating pads or ventilation fans up to 120W (10A).
Intelligent Heating and Cooling Logic
The microprocessor automatically detects whether you want to heat or cool an environment based purely on how you program your starting and stopping thresholds. Here is how the logic works:
Heating Mode (Start Temp < Stop Temp): Set the starting threshold lower than the stopping threshold. Example: To control a 12V heater, set the start temperature to 40°C and the stop temperature to 50°C. The unit powers on at 40°C to generate heat and cuts power at 50°C.
Cooling Mode (Start Temp > Stop Temp): Set the starting threshold higher than the stopping threshold. Example: For a cabinet cooling fan, set the start temperature to 30°C and the stop temperature to 26°C. The fan activates at 30°C and shuts off once cooled to 26°C.
Programming the Values: Short-press the UP or DOWN arrow to view the current start or stop setting. Long-press the corresponding arrow until the screen flashes to adjust the numerical value.
