Overview
This digital programmable timer switch relay runs on a 12V DC/AC control input and uses an LCD screen to manage automatic on/off scheduling for connected equipment. It stores up to 16 daily and weekly programs, so lighting, motors, pumps, fans, and other devices can be switched on and off at set times without manual attention. A built-in manual override button allows instant on/off control whenever automatic scheduling is not needed.
The switching output is a dry contact relay rated at 16A. Because the output contacts are electrically isolated from the 12V control circuit, they can be wired to switch a separate load at practically any voltage or current within the relay's rated capacity, rather than being limited to 12V. This makes the timer suitable for controlling low-voltage electronics as well as higher-voltage AC equipment, since the relay simply opens and closes a circuit rather than passing its own control voltage through to the load.
The LCD display shows the current time down to the second, the day of the week, and whether the unit is in automatic or manual mode, making it easy to check status and adjust programs at a glance. Time settings can be programmed in increments from one minute up to 168 hours, covering everything from short cycles to full weekly schedules. A built-in non-rechargeable lithium battery preserves programmed schedules and clock settings during a power interruption, so programs are not lost if main power is disconnected.
The housing has a compact, panel-mount design with a 4-pin terminal layout compatible with 1/4 inch female quick-connect terminals, and mounting holes sized for approximately 1/8 inch (Φ3.2mm) screws, allowing it to be fitted into equipment panels, enclosures, or control boxes.
Applications
Suited for automating lighting circuits, ventilation and exhaust fans, small pumps and irrigation equipment, aquarium and greenhouse equipment, workshop and fabrication tools, and other electrical devices that need to run on a repeating daily or weekly schedule. Because the output is a dry contact, it can also be used as a scheduling controller within larger control panels or automation setups where the switched circuit runs on a different voltage than the timer's own 12V control power.
